With the combination of various shops and access to thousands of on-demand units, the company successfully meets the needs of home owners, general contractors, architects, and developers.
Incorporated in 2023, Acre Development Group specializes in the development of commercial, residential, and mixed-use real estate. Acre Development Group works closely with Town and City officials to introduce properties that add value to the surrounding community. Working primarily with existing property, Acre Development Group's construction team designs and builds unique spaces while preserving the historical integrity of each building. With a decade working in the automotive, entertainment, defense, and construction industries, Ian brings a diverse set of skills to each business under The Forge Companies portfolio. These skills include financial management, customer service, sales, business development, and design.
With a passion for developing new companies and exploring the limits of what can be achieved, Ian is continuously working to expand The Forge Companies' portfolio. Each year, at least one company is launched, acquired, expanded, or significantly improved in an effort to keep the portfolio strong.
Ian has achieved a B.S in International Maritime Business from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy, and has been honored with the Tom Swain Memorial Award in Leadership.
Ethan DeSota

As a 30-year construction professional, Ethan DeSota has participated in commercial and residential development and construction processes on projects driven by technology and energy efficiency.
Ethan grew up in Flint, MI, an epicenter of poverty resulting from the end of the industrial era and poor city planning. A place where healthy, safe, and quality homes are largely unavailable to much of the population. After 10 years in the solar industry, these external influences came together and gave Ethan a desire to see that new design and construction approaches be used for building healthier homes for the general population.
As a result, Exponent Construction Group was founded. Our goal is to address the need to provide safe, affordable, energy-efficient, quality, and well-designed housing that’s accessible to the general population. Natalia Calderon, a Colombian native who immigrated to the United States in 2017, is a multilingual expert fluent in Spanish, English, Portuguese, and French, bringing exceptional value to the business through her ability to connect with diverse clients and markets.
Her visionary approach and creative ambitions have been instrumental in shaping the company’s growth, from spearheading new initiatives to refining operational strategies. Natalia draws on her years of experience as a legal assistant in Colombia, where she specialized in contract negotiations and compliance, offering the business a strong foundation in legal operations.
As the manager of the hospitality division, she combines her passion for customer service with her background in running a boutique expatriate hotel, where she developed innovative guest experiences and improved efficiency. Natalia’s dedication, expertise, and global perspective continue to be a cornerstone of the company’s success.
